Policy and Disclosure

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Renter will be required to provide a security deposit in the amount of $1,000-$3,000 dollars (“Security Deposit”) to be used in the event of damage to the Rental Vehicle during the term of this agreement. Owner may, in lieu of collection of a security deposit, place a hold on a credit card in the same amount.  In the event of damage to the Rental Vehicle, Owner will apply this Security Deposit to defray the costs of necessary repairs or replacement. If the cost for repair or replacement of damage to the Rental Vehicle exceeds the amount of the Security Deposit, Renter will be responsible for payment to the Owner of the balance of this cost.

Security deposit can be in cash or credit card. When using credit card for security deposit of rentals longer than 6 days temporary hold (pre-authorization) payment will be collected and a refund will be issue at the end of rental after inspection of the vehicle. Within 24 hours inspection will be completed.

Fuel: Premium 91 or 93 gasoline only. Renter must refuel the vehicle to the same level as it was at the beginning of trip. In the event the Owner is the party refueling the vehicle $20 convenience fee will be charged.

CANCELLATION

Flexible cancellation: make your reservation worry-free and cancel it free of charge within 72 hours of booking.

Semi-flexible cancellation: a non-refundable fee of 30% of the total reservation amount with cancellation after 72 hours or save credit to use in future reservation for up to 12 months.

In case of early return, prorated amount will be saved as credit for future reservations for up to 12 months.

No show (if the renter does not cancel the reservation before the day of arrival or does not check-in): a penalty of 100% of the reservation will be charged. 

Same day cancelation: a penalty equivalent to 100% of the reservation amount will be charged.

INSURANCE

If Renter chooses not to take out insurance with the rental company, he must provide rental company with proof of insurance covering damage to the Rental Vehicle at the time of signing this Rental Agreement, as well as personal injury to Renter, passengers in the Rental Vehicle and other persons or goods. If the Rental Vehicle is damaged or destroyed while in Renter's possession, Renter agrees to pay any required insurance deductibles and assign all rights to collect the insurance proceeds to Owner, exempt the lessor from all legal, civil, and criminal liability. Picture of insurance identification card is required.

ELLOLUX RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Absolutely NO smoking in the car
  • Absolutely NO racing, drifting, tire kicking of any kind please
  • Prepaid $12/day for tolls (Sunpass)
  • Please be respectful and treat the vehicle with good care
  • Please DO NOT WASH or wipe down the inside of the vehicle. Just make sure to throw away garbage and remove all belongings, vacuum if needed
  • $45 standard cleaning fee
  • $400 cleaning fee for smoking
  • $100 detail wash (exterior or interior of vehicle such as stains, vomit, etc.)
  • $500 fee for damages to interior caused by smoking or any hazardous material, including seats, steering wheel, roof headliner, center console, or any of vehicle’s components.
  • $250 fee assessed for RIM Rash/Rub per RIM. Be mindful when parking.
  • $1,000 lost key
  • $1,000 for damage or disassemble front or rear bumper.
  • $500 light paint scratches
  • $1000 deep paint scratches

MILEAGE

Mileage on the vehicle will be limited to 100 miles per day. Any mileage on the vehicle more than this limitation will be subject to an excess mileage surcharge, amount to be determine based on vehicle value.
